Review of Passion Creek by Avery Flynn

The book is for mature readers due to some very steamy not leaving much to the imagination sex scenes.. It was slow going at first but when it did get my attention it was hard to put down. Passion Creek is an adventure and love story. Josie is a painter who lost her way, when she chooses to go back to study art and leave her job in Vegas she not only found her love of art again but she found passion in the most unlikely place. Of course there are obstacles, betrayals and intrigue to get to the love and to the treasure she hopes to find. IF she uses the treasure map and finds it, she can help her brother get out of debt from the mobsters, save her family, and find the love of her life. All of this gets dropped at her feet and what she does to attempt to complete her tasks makes for an awesome read. There are lots of twists and turns in the book, and an ending that I love, which is a must for book that is both sexy, romantic and mysterious. The characters are believable, and the plot keeps you guessing as to what will happen next. I would highly recommend it as a must read. More info go here includin a giveaway.

Weigh In

Went today instead of last night and found out I had hit my 5% goal and more. I am now 12.2 pounds down from the beginning. Woop Woop.....Loving it.  Working on week nine, can't wait to see what this week will bring.  I will be going out of town for ten days starting Sunday, so will be interesting to stay on track. The main thing I have found is doing just that, tracking my food, and eating healthier than I have in years. It is amazing what a person can do when you set your mind to it..... More to come.

Passion Creek by Avery Flynn

life goes on

HI everyone,
I haven't been on in a while, been very busy, doctor appointments and so on. My mom had knee replacement surgery and I have been with her all week. Today my sister is there so I will take a break.
I am still doing weight watchers and I am happy to report I am now 9.4 pounds lighter. I hit below 200 and I am so happy, It has been a long, long time since I saw the lower side of 200. I will keep plugging away.
I also have been reading a lot of books and just love it. I have one on kindle I read and the same time I read the old fashion book in hand way. LOL

one of my greater passions in my life is reading, my mom taught me at a young age to use libraries and the love of reading. Thank you mom.

She has worked in libraries many years before she retired. There is nothing better than to lose yourself in the storyline of a good book.

OK more later, hope all have a great day and if you have this horrid disease a low pain day as well.
